Changes coming to SWTOR in Patch 1.2. New PVP Warzones, Armor Customization, Guildbanks and more!

Lots of great changes and additions are coming to Star Wars the Old Republic with the upcoming 1.2 patch including new Operations, Warzones, Customization of armor and your UI, guild banks, and the new Legacy family tree. SWTOR Gets Release Date!!!!

Mark your calendars boys and girls, the game is set for release on December 20th, 2011 in North America, December 22nd, 2011 in Europe. I’m so excited to play this game with friends. I have been involved in the beta for quite a while now, and all I can say is be as excited as you want to be, it won’t let you down. Read the press release HERE

Star Wars: The Old Republic has 19 Major Worlds, With Many, Many More to Come…

PCGAMER has reported that SWTOR is going to launch with 19 major worlds and many minor ones to explore and experience. This is a huge amount compared to Star Wars Galaxies (SOE’s Star Wars MMO released June 2003) that only had 12 worlds, and that’s counting both expansions. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. Star Wars: The Old Republic Now Available for Pre-Order

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!
Yep, that’s how every Star Wars fan feels right now. The Old Republic has built up an incredible amount of hype. Bioware has made it clear that they can make not only an amazing RPG, but an amazing Star Wars RPG. And hopefully The Old Republic will be no different.
