Netflix, one of the leaders in media distribution through digital streaming and DVD distribution announced today an increase in monthly fees by 60%. The changes include separate plans for unlimited streaming and DVD-through-mail services, and are no longer bundled together for a lesser price. As for the millions of Netflix subscribers, the changes are predictably unwelcome and could be the first major hit in customer satisfaction the company is well known for.
